Toyo Tires become title sponsor of the MSA British Rallycross Championship for the next three years
 
The Championship celebrated its 40th birthday in 2016 with consistently strong entries, a competitive series of events and its youngest ever champion. Together with Toyo Tires, the British RX Championship and its competitors can expect to build on a strong season last year into 2017 and beyond.

In addition to sponsoring the championship, Toyo Tires has also agreed a prize fund for drivers who win their class at any round while using Toyo Tires. While tire choice remains open, competitors using Toyo Tires will be rewarded with cash bonuses every time they win their class.

In 2017, as the sport marks the 50th anniversary of its first event, the MSA British Rallycross Championship will be staged over nine events taking place on seven weekends between March and October.

“I’m delighted to welcome Toyo Tires to the MSA British Rallycross Championship,” said Championship Manager Tim Whittington. “It’s enthusiasm for rallycross is great to see and I look forward to working closely together over the next three years. The Championship was stronger than it had been for some time in 2016 and we’re hopeful of continuing an upward trend this season. We’re all looking forward to the opening round of the Championship at Croft Circuit next month.”
